How to find out the price of a property sold?

Are you selling your home and want to be sure to offer the right price? Do you want to buy a house and would like to know the selling price of similar properties sold in the neighborhood?



FIND OUT THE SELLING PRICE OF A SOLD PROPERTY: GO TO THE DEDICATED DVF SITE


Perhaps you already know the Patrim tool? An online service set up by Bercy which makes available to taxpayers the sale prices of housing comparable to a given property in a geographical area (excluding Mayotte and Alsace-Moselle) and for a limited period. A database which can, however, be accessed by entering your tax number, for only 50 searches maximum over a period of 3 months.


Since 2019, if you are looking for the price of a property sold in France (excluding Mayotte and Alsace-Moselle) over the last five years, the free DVF (Request for Land Value) application , offered by Etalab, department of the interministerial direction of digital (DINUM) may also be useful to you.


How does it work? Click on a department, then on a municipality, then on a cadastral section. The plots affected by at least one mutation are displayed in blue. Click on a blue parcel to obtain the list of mutations (date, land value, provisions). The price indicated does not include real estate agency fees or notary fees. In application of the law for a State serving a trusted society (ESSOC) and the increasing openness of public data, the data consultable on the DVF application can also be downloaded in full.


Thanks to this tool, you will be able to get an idea of the price trend in the area you are targeting.
